Career Summary:
Calvin Wright is entering his 17th year in education and 13th as a head softball coach. He was previously at Azle ISD, but has enjoyed prior coaching stints at Chisholm Trail, Itasca and Graford. He has led his teams to 11 playoff appearances, 3 district championships and 2 regional appearances.
He is a 2002 graduate of Comfort High School where he was a two time first team all-district baseball player. He graduated from Tarleton State University in 2007 with a degree in Exercise and Sports Studies and a minor in History. In 2012 he graduated from Tarleton with a Masters in Educational Administration with Principal Certification.
Coach Wright is entering his first year at Bridgeport High School as the Head Softball Coach and Assistant Volleyball Coach. He will be teaching English III and IV.
